On the night of April 19, 2025, Eman Afroz, a 5 th semester student of international relations at ISLAMIC INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY ISLAMABAD, was brutally murdered in her hostel room at Kainat hostel, G-10 Islamabad. That night, Eman was feeling uneasy and got up to open her door. At that moment, a man forcefully entered her room. Eman screamed for help, the man fired a bullet at her and the man fled the scene. An official FIR under Section 302 PPC has been registered but there has been no progress visible in the investigation of her murder.
